FLOOR TECHNICIAN

About the role

Utilize the housekeeping process in cleaning and maintaining the interior floors of the hospital- sweeping, mopping and waxing. In addition to routine maintenance, spot and improve blemished floors. Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Warmly and consistently greet patients, visitors, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine floor cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and waxing.
• Spot and improve blemished floors as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Warmly and consistently greet patients, visitors, and coworkers.
• Contribute to an excellent hospital experience for patients and family.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must have high school diploma or GED. Experience in floor stripping preferred. Understanding of floor cleaning supplies and safe practices.
