Full time, Night (United States of America)

About the role

Adjusts to staff shortages and covers other assigned areas, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Properly uses personal protective equipment
• Analyzes carpeted and hard surface floors and applies correct maintenance procedures
• Performs cleaning functions using the department approved process in all assigned areas
• Monitors and reports any equipment issues or shortages and stocks supplies
• Assesses areas of assignment and makes suggestions for improvement to the supervisor, documenting daily assignments completed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Ability to maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition
• Able to communicate in English
• Basic computer skills and to include the use of mouse and keyboard
• Ability to climb and work on a ladder
• Knowledge of floor care maintenance process
• Ability to safely use all equipment related to the care of floor surfaces to include but not limited to commercial rotary machines, auto scrubbers, vacuums and floor burnishers
• Demonstrates knowledge of environmental services equipment and chemicals used in the department
• Ability to assess, correct, and maintain various floor surfaces

Education

• High School Grad or Equiv

Work Experience

• 1+ floor tech experience
