Floor Supervisor / Retail Sales Associate role focused on managing front-end operations and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks to other staff as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with customers.
• Ensures exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving issues.
• Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise.
• Demonstrates and explains merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customer’s needs.
• Addresses customer needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
• Ensures that sales staff are using sales techniques such as upselling, tie-in sales, and suggestive selling.
• Ensures sales areas are kept neat, clean, dusted, and in the correct place.
• Ensures merchandise has proper tags and labeling.
• Retrieves merchandise from sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations, and places special orders.
• Ensures back stock is kept neat and orderly, checked, and stocked daily.
• Maintains end caps and rotates end cap merchandise regularly.
• Processes returns and exchanges.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Previous retail experience (1-3 years)
