About the Role

We are seeking a versatile, tech-savvy Restaurant Floor Supervisor & Office Administrator who blends a genuine heart for hospitality with a meticulous eye for detail. This is a temporary position with an opportunity to transition into a permanent, long-term leadership role. In this dual role, you will spend roughly 60% of your time championing our guest experience on the dining room floor and 40% anchoring our business operations through digital organization.

Responsibilities

Floor Supervision: A Heart for Hospitality (Approx. 60%)

  • Elevate Guest Experiences: Greet guests warmly, manage table touches, and proactively turn minor service hiccups into memorable, positive moments.
  • Lead & Mentor: Inspire, coach, and support front-of-house staff to deliver seamless, warm service.
  • Maintain Ambiance: Consistently audit the dining room floor to ensure lighting, music, temperature, and cleanliness perfectly match our brand standards.

Office Administration: An Eye for Detail (Approx. 40%)

  • Digital Documentation: Maintain, organize, and update files using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Inventory & Vendor Relations: Order, track, and log front-of-house and office supplies, verifying that digital vendor invoices are 100% accurate.
  • System Maintenance: Keep our POS system updated with menu changes, manage the restaurant's central email inbox, and maintain orderly digital filing systems.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1-2+ years of restaurant leadership (Shift Lead, Captain, or Supervisor) combined with at least 1 year of administrative or office support experience.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced, hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive) is strictly required.
  • The Hospitality Heart: A naturally warm, empathetic, and service-oriented personality. You genuinely enjoy making people feel welcome and valued.
  • The Detailed Eye: Exceptional organizational skills. You spot typos, spreadsheet discrepancies, inventory shortages, and misplaced decor instantly.
  • Tech Savvy: Ability to quickly adapt to modern restaurant POS systems (e.g., Toast, Clover) and reservation platforms.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including peak dinner shifts, weekends, and holidays. This position is primarily a morning-mid day position.

Position Duration & Future Outlook

This position is initially structured as a temporary role for a duration of 2-3 months and offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent, full-time position with enhanced long-term benefits.

Benefits

  • Free shift meal
  • Dynamic, friendly team
  • Opportunity to learn the workings of a successful restaurant

If you transition to a permanent position, benefits include health insurance, retirement savings, bonus, paid time off, and sick leave.
