PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that all policies and procedures and all Nevada Gaming Control Board Regulations are followed.
- Ensures excellent guest service levels are maintained.
- Ensure that all fills and credits are accurate and timely.
- Maintains bank rolls on all games.
- Safeguards customer database and ensures information is accurate.
- Trains new dealers.
- Identifies and resolves guest and employee concerns.
- Participates in departmental brainstorming meetings.
- Makes corrections to dealer performance when necessary.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Trains, supervises, motivates, and evaluates department staff.
- Communicates with Supervisors, Managers, and Directors on Departmental operations.
- Designated Floor Supervisors may be called upon to perform in the Casino Shift Manager position, as needed, at the Director's discretion.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Ability to learn new software applications (CMS casino system, IGT Slot system, LMS hotel system).
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working understanding of Regulation 6A.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and evenings.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Walking and meeting and greeting guests in all gaming areas.
- Work may require weekend and evening work.
- Must work calmly and under stress when the volume of business increases.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke and high noise levels.
