Floor Supervisor

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that all policies and procedures and all Nevada Gaming Control Board Regulations are followed.
• Ensures excellent guest service levels are maintained.
• Ensure that all fills and credits are accurate and timely.
• Maintains bank rolls on all games.
• Safeguards customer database and ensures information is accurate.
• Trains new dealers.
• Identifies and resolves guest and employee concerns.
• Participates in departmental brainstorming meetings.
• Makes corrections to dealer performance when necessary.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Trains, supervises, motivates, and evaluates department staff.
• Communicates with Supervisors, Managers, and Directors on Departmental operations.
• Designated Floor Supervisors may be called upon to perform in the Casino Shift Manager position, as needed, at the Director's discretion.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to learn new software applications (CMS casino system, IGT Slot system, LMS hotel system).
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Working understanding of Regulation 6A.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and evenings.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Walking and meeting and greeting guests in all gaming areas.
• Work may require weekend and evening work.
• Must work calmly and under stress when the volume of business increases.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke and high noise levels.
