Floor Staff

Job Summary

Floor Staff at Rock Spot Climbing are responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to members and guests. They ensure a safe and fun environment through instruction and group facilitation. This position is part-time and supervised by a shift supervisor.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Make customers of all levels of experience feel welcome.
• Provide orientations, belay instruction, and belay services for members and guests.
• Monitor the climbing floor for potential safety hazards and regularly evaluate customer belay skills.
• Maintain the quality of the climbing product by performing necessary route maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain a welcoming environment by cleaning customer and staff focused areas throughout your shifts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous indoor rock climbing and top rope belaying experience.
• Safety conscious.
• Previous experience working with children.
• Customer service and sales experience.
• Outgoing, friendly personality.

Physical Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
