Floor Person BEN SS Nights Shift

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Locate and promptly remove condemned products near major walkways, drains, and standing water.
• Deliver condemned products to designated containers.
• Clean floors using a hand-held water broom as needed.
• Maintain the free flow of all drains in the production area.

Participation in the Team

• Participate as a member of the Team.
• Contribute to the development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies.
• Coordinate work to ensure B.E.S.T. practices with all team members.
• Attend appropriate team meetings.
• Foster strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues, such as direction, annual plans, budget, policy changes, etc.
• Identify and address areas lacking cohesiveness, working with the team leader to resolve issues and promote synergy within the organization.

Simmons Operating Systems Principles and Objectives

• Familiarity with Simmons' established operating systems (e.g., quality, security, office environment, company policies).
• Understand the responsibility to maintain familiarity with these systems and their impact on individual actions.
• Communicate concerns and improvement ideas related to system operations.

• Support business objectives as assigned.

• Frequent twisting of the neck and waist.
