ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains proper operation of slot equipment on the casino floor.
- Makes rounds of the casino floor to assist guests with minor machine issues, payouts, and fills.
- Cleans bill validator jams, TITO jams, and replaces TITO paper.
- Provides currency for slot machines and other gaming activities.
- Handles jackpot payments after obtaining necessary approvals.
- Accurately and promptly receives, secures, handles, counts, reconciles, and distributes large sums of money.
- Completes required casino forms and follows procedures for refilling.
- Verifies moneys at the start and end of each work shift.
- Maintains effective working relationships and provides personalized customer service.
- Explains gaming rules and regulations to customers as needed.
- Ensures compliance with relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated knowledge of casino operations, gaming rules, and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience with receiving, securing, handling, counting, and distributing large sums of money.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of slot machine games and operations.
- Demonstrated effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing within deadlines and under pressure.
- Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing tasks.
- Ability to work well with people and create a fun environment for guests.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One or more years of recent and related gaming experience, preferably in slot operations.
- Valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, and standing for an entire work shift.
- Lifting various gaming equipment, including coins weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Flexible work schedule with additional hours on a routine basis.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- $15.00+ per hour, based on experience, plus gratuities.
