Floor Manager- Ted Baker
Job Summary
United Legwear is seeking a dedicated Floor Manager to oversee the general operations of the store team at the Bloomingdale’s concession. Key responsibilities include assisting customers, resolving inquiries, distributing tasks, and monitoring team performance.
Essential Functions

Champion training and standards in the location, developing others, and evaluating performance.
Consistently motivate the team to achieve goals and objectives.
Instruct and adapt to different people and situations.
Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
Maintain productive relationships with host store partners.
Use all available tools and information to stay updated on current products and be proficient in product details.
Support merchandising guidelines, replenishment procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Regularly liaise with managers to ensure floors are commercially driven.
Maximize sales potential by ensuring the team delivers all requirements of Ted’s trainings.
Be responsible for GOTFAT demonstration with enthusiasm and consistency.
Develop a strong commercial awareness of local and customer profiles, shopping behaviors, and competitors.
Drive awareness of brand promotions, marketing activities, and campaigns.
Manage the controllable elements of the store's profit and loss budgets.
Analyze relevant tools to convey a high level of commercial understanding, identifying opportunities to positively impact location performance.
Operate confidently in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, delivering all daily operations.
Proactively complete and delegate tasks, communicate feedback, and highlight issues.
Adhere to and support all Company health and safety procedures.
Use equipment properly and report any potentially unsafe conditions.
Follow loss prevention measures and report any misuse or theft of Company property.
Ensure accurate cash handling and banking procedures, resolving discrepancies as a priority.
Support the management team in executing all communications and directives.
Qualifications/Requirements
Experience as a Floor Supervisor/Keyholder or in a similar retail management role, preferably in fashion.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Open availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays.
An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and develop actionable strategies.
Knowledge of retail operations, visual merchandising, and inventory management.
Passion for fashion and the Ted Baker brand.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

This role can also include stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, as necessary. The ability to lift, pull, push, and/or move up to 40 pounds is required. Vision abilities for close and distance viewing related to electronic systems and/or physical products are also required. Working conditions may involve dynamic changes in pace and activity level, necessitating flexibility and promptness to perform tasks in various physical positions.
