Floor IMM - Night Shift - Mogadore, OH

About the role

This position reports to the IMM Supervisor and is responsible for supporting injection molding machine (IMM) operations on the 1st shift in Mogadore.

Responsibilities

• Take attendance
• Check work areas for safety issues
• Verify all paperwork, layouts, and tools are correct at the presses
• Communicate Yellow Alerts, Packaging Specifications, and Aux Equipment needs to Operators
• Verify and enter scrap into Mattec every 2 hours
• Keep lines stocked with necessary supplies
• Maintain workstations throughout the shift
• Assist with all machine changes (Mold Change, Pack Change, Color Change)
• Ensure rotation is being followed
• Administer breaks and lunches to operators
• Utilize Run Rite boards where applicable

Requirements

• Physically able to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Physically able to stand on feet for a 12-hour shift
• Basic math skills
• Able to keep up with the pace of the position
• Able to effectively communicate with others both verbally and in writing
• Must follow all safety procedures and complete all OSHA-required training
• Must complete Standardized Work training
• Must wear/use all required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves (when cutting or moving pallets), and proper footwear as outlined in the employee handbook
