Floor Finisher

About the role

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is seeking a Full Time Floor Finisher to join their dedicated team. This role offers a rotating schedule from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with holidays and weekends off.

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care and project cleaning functions in assigned areas.
• Keeps equipment clean and functional according to procedures.
• Handles hazardous and infectious waste properly.
• Reports defects to supervisor.
• Responds to emergency spills according to procedure.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in cleaning and refinishing floors.
• Ability to handle hazardous and infectious waste.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
