Floor Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Step in as a coordinator for any department (Guest Services, Party & Events, Restaurant, or Training) when coverage is needed.
• Supervise staff, manage breaks, and ensure proper staffing throughout shifts.
• Open and close the park as scheduled.

Guest Experience & Floor Oversight

• Act as a floor leader, responding to guest concerns, ride support calls, and escalated issues.
• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner across all areas.
• Uphold Malibu Jack’s guest service standards to ensure a fun, safe, and welcoming experience.

Training & Coaching

• Reinforce service, safety, and performance standards with new and current staff.
• Support training with checklists, hands-on coaching, and feedback.

Groups & Parties

• Aid with setup/tear-down for parties and events.
• Ensure group events run smoothly and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain an organized, welcoming space.

Skills & Qualifications

• Exceptional adaptability and willingness to rotate daily between departments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Guest-first mindset with problem-solving ability.
• Basic knowledge of food safety, customer service, and event practices (or eagerness to learn).
• Calm, organized, and reliable under pressure.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous Leadership or Customer-facing Experience Preferred.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory.
• Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
