The Floor Care Worker is responsible for performing specialized floor cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure that all floor surfaces in the community are clean, polished, and well maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of floors in residential units, common areas, dining facilities, hallways, and other designated spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, or perform other techniques on floors using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents to ensure all surfaces remain clean and sanitized.
- Inspect floors for damages, cracks, or wear and tear, and notify appropriate maintenance personnel for repairs.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and spotless environment for residents to truly feel at home.
Requirements
- 1-2 years previous experience in floor care, housekeeping, or janitorial work preferred.
Qualifications
- Some schooling or equivalent work experience preferred.
Skills
- Knowledge of various floor care techniques and various equipment preferred.
