Floor Care Technician (On-Call)

West Hospital (140th & Pacific)- On-Call Shift: Called to cover shifts within the time-frame of Monday-Friday 5p-1:30a.

Major Responsibilities & Duties

• Sweeps, mops, buffs, polishes, scrubs, strips, and refinishes hard-surface floors using heavy equipment
• Vacuums, spot cleans, and extracts carpeted floor surfaces
• May clean and extract upholstered surfaces and furniture.
• Performs routine operational maintenance of cleaning equipment per manufacturer specifications
• Performs routine and maintenance cleaning processes in areas assigned (i.e. classroom, gym, locker room auditorium, office, cafeteria, etc) in accordance with all regulatory standards (CMS, Joint Commission, etc), which may include but not limited to: general cleaning and disinfection
