Floating Utility
About the role
Floating Utility Associates perform a variety of tasks to support production operations. They read factory work orders, print cards, and other documents to understand customer requirements. They identify and segregate nonconforming products and materials, accurately complete time sheets, reports, and other records, and maintain work areas to meet plant standards.
Responsibilities
- Reading factory work orders, print cards, and other documents to learn customer requirements
- Identifying stock and products that correspond to work orders
- Performing assigned duties to ensure production needs are met
- Aiding other associates as needed
- Accurately using tape measures and other measurement and test equipment
- Inspecting, counting, stacking, and unitizing products according to customer specifications
- Maintaining work areas to meet plant standards of housekeeping
- Floating utilities associates follow the direction of the operator where they are assigned
- Maintaining teamwork with machine crews and other associates
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervision
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively. Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Skills
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of basic math and measurement techniques.

Pay
$22.67/hr. with $.40 shift differential for nights
Schedule
Hourly Full-Time (6:00pm-6:00am, 2on,2off,3on 24-7 schedule)
