About the Role
As a Float, you will cover key positions in multiple areas of our Northland plant in Green Bay, WI.
- Big Line: Jack Operator, salt filler – line operator, blender operator, set up.
- Shipping: Forklift operator, shipping and receiving, janitor, formulation of jack operator, sampler, and set up.
Additional duties include:
- Locking all equipment before working on it; following equipment set-up procedures after lockout.
- Reporting any damaged equipment immediately to the lead person.

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be able to work in a variety of conditions: warm, hot, humid, cold, wet, or slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work extended scheduled hours Sunday through Friday with daily overtime.
- Must be able to work overtime as required; start times and hours vary based on production needs.
- Must successfully complete training in:
- Safety
- Safe Quality Food (SQF)
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP)
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Food defense
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior machine operating experience in a USDA-inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility.
- Prior production experience.
- Work history in the last 12 months.
