Floating Teacher

About the role

We are looking for Floating Teachers (part-time and full-time) to join our team, supporting classrooms and positively impacting children's lives in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
• Support each child’s social and emotional development.
• Establish positive and effective family relations.
• Work with classroom teachers and in conjunction with the entire faculty.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of previous experience preferred.
• Meets background check eligibility.
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children.
• Is dependable, adaptable, and enjoys working together toward a common goal.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with handling children for program facilitation, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
• For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
