Floating Registered Pharmacist

Our Floating Registered Pharmacists bring their expertise and commitment to patient care across multiple Hy-Vee pharmacy locations, filling and verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, and helping each store deliver on its promise of exceptional health and wellness service. In this role, you'll work closely with pharmacy teams, build relationships with patients and healthcare providers, and take ownership of the pharmacy in the manager's absence. Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile, learning their names, and making every interaction a positive one
- Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with OBRA '90 regulations and all state and federal statutes and regulations
- Assist with controlled substance inventory on an annual basis or as recommended
- Assist with inventory control including ordering, stocking merchandise, checking invoices, and entering inventory information
- Assist with reconciliation and balancing of third-party accounts and monthly inventory
