Floating Pharmacist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Floating Pharmacist to join our team at Quality Pharmacy and Shoreham Drugs. This position requires as-needed travel between Quality Pharmacy in Seldon, NY and Shoreham Drugs in Shoreham, NY (approximately 12 miles apart).

Responsibilities

• Read and review incoming prescriptions for accuracy, suitability to patient, and potential interactions
• Provide information to patients on side effects, dosage, specific storage needs, and interactions with other medications
• Maintain excellent patient records and pharmacy files
• Conduct regular inventory and maintain proper standards for accepting new inventory and categorizing it appropriately
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Provide coverage at multiple locations as needed

Requirements

• Must hold a current state pharmacist license (RPh)
• Must have Immunization License
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed

Pay

$60–$65 per hour, biweekly pay period.
