Floating Maintenance Technician

About the role

We're seeking a talented maintenance technician to join our dynamic team. This position involves addressing a variety of apartment and property maintenance tasks, ensuring high standards in customer service and property upkeep.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.
  • Carry out general carpentry tasks like wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, and window/glass repair.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, including siding, painting, lighting, sprinklers, pools, golf-carts, elevators, and more.
  • Complete work orders promptly and ensure they meet company and resident standards.
  • Inspect property grounds, buildings, and amenities to maintain safety and cleanliness.
  • Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal, fire, and flood responses.
  • Communicate effectively with maintenance leadership regarding maintenance issues.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, promoting safety and risk management.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents and other properties.
  • Adhere to company risk management policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in property management or a related field.
  • General maintenance and carpentry skills.
  • A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Basic math skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Confidentiality and adherence to company policies.

Skills

Pay

$25 to $28 per hour.

Schedule

Monday-Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm.
