We are seeking a Floating Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing teams across multiple facilities in Upstate New York. Extensive travel is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff
- Develop and implement policies
- Oversee hiring and employment
- Ensure staff skills and conduct are maintained
- Manage incident reports
- Assess residents' health needs
Requirements
- Current New York RN license
- At least 5 years of long-term care experience
- 2+ years in a Director of Nursing role
- Strong leadership and supervision skills
