Floating Assistant Teachers

The Goddard School is seeking floating assistant teachers in our infant/toddler program (3 months–2 years old) at our Murray Hill location. At The Goddard School, we prioritize faculty happiness and foster a supportive, family-like environment where teachers are valued and appreciated.

About the Role

This brand-new, state-of-the-art preschool facility features:

• 13 classrooms
• All classrooms equipped with phones, Apple iPads, and Bluetooth speakers
• Fully stocked supplies room, including arts and crafts
• On-site indoor gym and private outdoor play spaces in StuyTown
• Face recognition for school entry

Responsibilities

• Working alongside classroom teachers to implement planned activities
• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
• Establishing positive and effective family relations and communication
• Maintaining routine and structure in the classroom

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
