Responsibilities

• Drive results and quality for each stripping & waxing project assigned.
• Perform assignments according to company schedule and customer expectations.
• Operate floor machines for buffing, stripping, waxing, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning safely and as scheduled.
• Conduct carpet extraction as needed.
• Keep facilities fresh, clean, and safe: sweep, mop, vacuum, and shine floors.
• Remove trash and recycling, restock supplies, empty wastebaskets, and replace liners.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals.
• Sweep and damp‑mop floors with disinfectant; spot‑clean soiled areas.
• Perform general cleaning of restrooms, offices, cafeterias, sales floors, and other assigned areas.
• Execute stripping & waxing (wet floor care) using scrubbers, extractors, and buffers.
• Refill all restroom dispensers as needed.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner per company guidelines and regulations.
• Read, understand, and follow product label measurements.
• Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and proper attire.

Qualifications

• Strong eye for detail and passion for cleanliness.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to roll up sleeves.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, processes, and the qualities/uses of various cleaning, sanitizing, stripping, and waxing compounds.
• Ability to follow directions from Lead Custodian or Management.

Schedule

• Third shift.
• Weekend shift with flexible start time (approximately 10 pm).
