Floater Armed Security- ACT235
MUST ALREADY BE ACT 235 CERTIFIED. This position requires overnight and evening availability, including holidays, a valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, willingness to travel up to 60 miles to job sites, and the ability to stand for 8+ hours a day in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with computers and learning new programs is essential. Full-time positions are available with no set schedule or job site.

As a Response Security Officer, your role will vary daily, adapting to special events and tasks such as customer service, patrols, or surveillance. Flexibility and precision are key—you’ll thrive in dynamic, high-stakes situations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
- Document events and incidents with detailed reports
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety
- Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
- Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergencies
- Ensure the safety of individuals and property
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards
- Screen trucks at entry points (e.g., seal cutting, driver paperwork checks)
- Patrol indoor/outdoor areas and multiple levels of the building
- Maintain paper logs and perform extensive computer data entry
- Use truck yard management programs throughout shifts
- Answer phones and handle email correspondence
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass an extensive screening process
- Strong report-writing skills
- Good eyesight and sustained focus abilities
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred

Full-time, variable shifts including off-shifts, weekends, evenings, overnights, and holidays. Every day presents new challenges and tasks.
