Float Teller
Description
Requires an individual who likes to have variety in their work environment. Candidates must be friendly, personable and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
Duties
- Processing routine transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check issuance)
- Opening all types of deposit accounts (checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and individual retirement accounts, etc.)
- Resolving customer service issues
- Cross-selling bank products and services
Work Locations
Work locations will vary based on staffing needs at multiple banking locations in the greater Springfield area. Primary Location/Schedule: 3050 S Delaware Springfield, MO 65804
Primary Location/Schedule
- Daily work assignments will be primarily Mount Vernon, Carthage, and Ash Grove area OMB locations
- Reliable transportation required
- Daily schedule will vary based on the banks operating hours 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm Saturday
- Full-time - approximately 40 hours per week
Position Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to report to for work at multiple work sites throughout the day as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of three years of cash handling and customer service experience
- A minimum of one year in retail banking, including teller transactions and new accounts preferred
- Excellent customer service and strong communication skills
- Strong mathematical, problem-solving and computer skills
- Effective multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Willingness to proactively cross-sell bank products & services
