Float Registered Dental Assistant - Comprehensive Care Center

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with all chairside procedures, including four-handed dentistry, patient draping, seating, and room preparation.
• Operate dental radiography equipment and apply topical agents.
• Remove dressings and ensure all treatment details are accurately documented.
• Perform infection control, sterilization, and HIPAA compliance tasks.
• Support the dental team by filling in as a receptionist, answering calls, and assisting patients as needed.
• Follow all policies related to radiology, infection control, and sterilization protocols.
• Perform additional duties as required to support clinic operations.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma.
• California Registered Dental Assistant license and sealant certification required.
• State Radiological Certification.
• Preferred two years of experience; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in expanded duty programs.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient care skills.
