Registered Dental Assistant - Comprehensive Care Center

Job Summary

Clinica Sierra Vista is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. This position requires proficiency in four-handed dentistry and experience assisting dentists in various dental procedures.

Essential Functions

• Draping and seating the patient in the dental chair
• Placing proper tray setup and developing room preparation
• Confirming all treatment is recorded in the chart and indicating necessary patient information on route slips
• Operating dental radiography equipment
• Applying topical agents
• Removing dressings

Qualifications

• Two years' experience preferred
• Must have both California license for Registered Dental Assistant and sealant certificate
• Preferably bilingual in English and Spanish
• Willingness to participate in expanded duty program as it becomes operational
• Desire to work closely with patients and staff
• Graduation from high school
• Must possess State Radiological Certification
• Must adhere to Clinica Sierra Vista's employee health/immunization requirements or provide a valid exemption request for subsequent approval
