Float Registered Dental Assistant - Blackstone CHC

Job Summary

Clinica Sierra Vista is seeking a Float Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position requires proficiency in four-handed dentistry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of a dentist, perform dental procedures based on the dentist's instructions.
• Assist the dentist in all aspects of chairside assisting, including draping, seating, tray setup, and room preparation.
• Confirm treatment is recorded in the chart and ensure all necessary information is indicated on route slips.
• Operate dental radiography equipment, apply topical agents, remove dressings, and maintain infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Fulfill duties as a Dental Receptionist, answering phone calls, routing patients, and performing other assigned tasks.
• Participate in expanded duty programs as they become operational.

Requirements

• Two years' experience as a Registered Dental Assistant, with a preference for a sealant certificate.
• Active and bilingual (English and Spanish) registration as a Registered Dental Assistant.
• State Radiological Certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
