Float Radiologic Technologist I

Job Summary

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

Responsibilities

• Produces diagnostic images using various imaging examinations.
• Ensures quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
• Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
• Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.
• Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs.

Requirements

• Required Associates of Science in Radiologic Technology or a related field, upon hire.
• Completion of an Accredited Program: The program must be accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), upon hire.
• Medical Radiographer license: KY, upon hire.
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire or Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry, upon hire or Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire or Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, upon hire or Registered Technologist Mammography, upon hire or Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, upon hire or Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, upon hire or Registered Technologist Quality Management, upon hire or Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy, upon hire or Registered Technologist Vascualr Inteventional Rad, upon hire or Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.

Qualifications

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.

Skills

Deep understanding of diagnostic imaging, expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.
