Float Pool RN (Full-Time) (Nights)

About the role

The Float Pool Registered Nurse provides direct patient care across multiple units, including Med-surg, Telemetry, ICU, and ED, to support staffing and patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
• Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and compliance while engaging in ongoing professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring clear communication across care continuum.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license required; Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred with at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong clinical skills, adaptability, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to quickly integrate into various patient care settings while upholding high standards of safety and quality.
