We seek a Float Pharmacist for the state of Maine to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. This onsite, part-time position will be scheduled 32 hours per week during the pharmacy hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Candidates must have some availability during that time. Locations include: Portland, Biddeford, Augusta, Bangor, Wiscasset, Brunswick, Lewiston, Skowhegan.
Responsibilities
- Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provides information to customers about medications and their use
- Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
- Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
- Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Current pharmacist license in state of Maine
- Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
- Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Current pharmacist license in state of New Hampshire or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire
- Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire
Pay
The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment.
