Float Pharmacist - Community - Maine

About the role

This onsite, part-time Float Pharmacist position will be scheduled 32 hours per week during the pharmacy hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Candidates must have some availability during that time. Locations include: Portland, Biddeford, Augusta, Bangor, Wiscasset, Brunswick, Lewiston, Skowhegan.

Sign-on bonus: $10,000 for external candidates.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Current pharmacist license in state of Maine
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Current pharmacist license in state of New Hampshire or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire
• Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment.
