Float Paramedic responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate advanced patient care across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and determine appropriate actions following progressive protocols.
• Operate medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids for advanced medical interventions.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones, providing reassurance and information.
• Serve as team leader, managing scene safety and unit operations as needed.
• Drive ambulance during emergency responses.
• Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to enhance public relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Kansas and Missouri Paramedic certifications.
• Valid state driver’s license and compliant driving record.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• Ability to pass physical agility test.
• Relevant healthcare experience preferred.
