Float Paramedic

About the role

We are hiring Float Paramedics dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care using advanced medical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency calls and respond appropriately
• Utilize medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, and IVs
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Act as team leader when needed
• Manage scene and unit operations during emergency responses
• Drive ambulances safely to and from emergency scenes
• Collaborate with healthcare and public safety personnel
• Participate in community outreach to enhance service reputation

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Kansas and Missouri Paramedic certifications
• Valid State Driver’s License
• BLS and ACLS certification (required); PALS (preferred)
• Clean driving record
• Physical agility to perform job duties

Qualifications

Healthcare experience is preferred. Ideal candidates demonstrate professionalism, excellent communication, and teamwork skills to deliver prompt, effective emergency care.
