Essential Roles And Responsibilities

• Documents patient progress/regress according to established policies and procedures during appointments or upon notification of change in status from clinical coordinator or treatment center director.
• Supervises and instructs patients in oral medication self-administration and health education as needed.
• Knowledge of program policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of various substances of abuse, the disease of addiction and signs and symptoms of detoxification.
• Collects and records data such as complete HPI and Assessment and Plan for each patient in a comprehensive, accurate and systemic manner.
• Counsels patients and helps them understand their limitations and abilities.

Qualifications

• Education: At least 1 year of MAT/Addiction medicine treatment experience.
• Certifications: Board certification with the ANCC or AANP.
• Licensure: Must be licensed in the State of PA.
• Background Check: Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
• Interpersonal Skills: Must be able to interact compassionately with a diverse population.

Location and Schedule

This NP would be primarily located within Selinsgrove location but provide coverage across the 6 PA locations: Mansfield, Blakeslee, Selinsgrove, Mount Carmel, Williamsport, and State College on an as needed basis, up to 2 days each week. This coverage will take place both remotely and on site based on need/location.
