Float Medical Assistant- Atlanta Physician Practices

About the role

Our Float Medical Assistants provide coverage and support across multiple practices within our Atlanta network. Floating between physician practices is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.
• Floates to various offices as assigned to assist physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting.
• Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician.

Requirements

• One (1) year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.

Qualifications

• Preferred Graduate of Medical Assistant program or Graduate of a U.S. Military Medic course.
