Float Medical Assistant

SynergenX-Low T Center-HerKare are leading providers of hormone replacement and targeted wellness services seeking a motivated, reliable Medical Assistant to float between our South Houston, Webster, Friendswood, Pasadena, Sugarland, Galleria, West Houston, and Katy locations. No certification or license is required, and we offer two weeks of paid training along with great benefits.

About the role

This position requires flexibility and a willingness to travel between locations as needed. You’ll work alongside leaders in hormone replacement therapy and weight management, performing clinical duties, lab operations, and occasional front-desk support. Our goal is to deliver excellent care and exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual vitals, routine blood draws, and administer intramuscular/subcutaneous injections per provider request
• Maintain lab equipment, document all lab results, and ensure quality controls
• Run in-house labs or prepare specimens for external processing with proper orders for each patient
• Manage weekly inventory, ordering, and inter-team communication
• Assist with front-desk duties as needed

Requirements

• Physical proof of High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 months relevant work experience in a medical setting or documented completion of 180 extern hours
• Ability to perform venipuncture and injections (preferred)
• Pass a background check
• Basic computer skills
• Friendly, flexible attitude with a strong work ethic

Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Up to 3 Saturdays per month: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (with a weekday off when Saturday is worked)

Pay

$21 per hour
