Float Medical Assistant

Overview

Frontier Dermatology is seeking a Dermatology Float Medical Assistant to support multiple providers across our 35+ locations in Oregon and Washington. The role involves assisting with procedures, learning a specialty, and performing a variety of tasks in different clinic settings.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare exam rooms.
• Assist providers during dermatologic procedures.
• Provide patient education and perform daily patient tasks.
• Travel as needed to Seattle and Edmonds locations.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the Washington State Department of Health.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months related healthcare experience or equivalent trade‑school training.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills, strong organization, and attention to detail.

Pay

Hourly wage range $25.00 – $31.00, plus a float differential. Pay is dependent on experience, transferable skills, business needs, and geographic market availability.

Schedule

Four days per week, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. Travel to Seattle and Edmonds locations as needed.
