Float Medical Assistant

About the role

SynergenX | Low T Center is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to support multiple Nashville‑area clinics. You’ll work alongside different teams and providers, meet new patients, and help keep the day running smoothly. The role values personality, work ethic, and willingness to learn over a perfect resume. No MA certification is required; the company provides two full weeks of paid, hands‑on training to help you learn the processes and build confidence.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and create a friendly, comfortable experience
• Take manual patient vitals
• Perform routine blood draws and venipuncture
• Administer IM and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider
• Prepare and process laboratory testing
• Maintain lab equipment and documentation
• Complete quality control documentation
• Assist with inventory and ordering
• Support front desk duties when needed
• Work alongside providers and other clinic team members
• Help maintain smooth patient flow
• Jump in wherever you're needed to keep the clinic moving
• Help make every patient interaction a positive one

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 3 months of relevant medical experience OR documented completion of 180 externship hours

Qualifications

• MA or Phlebotomy certification preferred, but not required
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• Ability to perform venipuncture and IM/subcutaneous injections preferred
• Must successfully pass a background check
