About the role

As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will be a vital pillar of our care team, significantly impacting patient well-being through direct support and seamless coordination.

Responsibilities

- Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures. - Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider. - Obtain and record vital signs including but not limited to, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem. - May be required to collect urine drug specimens, draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. - Administer ordered medications and /or vaccines via oral, injection, topically, rectal, ophthalmic, and /or nasal administration. - May perform routine tests including but not limited to EKGs.

Requirements

- High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or - High School GED General Studies, upon hire and - graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, upon hire - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, upon hire or - Certified Medical Assistant AAMA, upon hire or - Certified Medical Assistant NHA, upon hire or - National Certified Medical Assistant NCCT, upon hire or - National Registered/Certified Medical Assistant NAHP, upon hire or - Registered Medical Assistant AMT, upon hire or - Registered Medical Assistant, upon hire or - Cert Med Asst - MMCI, upon hire and - Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Preferred

- Two year medical assistant experience
