Responsibilities
- Complete and submit electronic patient care records
- Perform daily base checks including narcotic counts
- Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital care
- Maintain clinical competency
- Ensure proper documentation of licensure and certifications
- Operate and maintain equipment
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues and healthcare partners
- Participate in pre-mission briefings and debriefings
- Assist with aircraft safety and pre-mission checklists
- Fill open shifts as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum three years’ experience in 911 or critical care
- Current EMT-P license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certifications
- Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) within 24 months
- NREMT-P may be required
Preferred Skills
- Prior flight experience
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
