Responsibilities

  • Cookbook administration
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Support training events by coordinating administrative and classroom activities
  • Break projects into actionable tasks and set timeframes
  • Liaise with stakeholders to facilitate project execution and assign tasks to internal teams
  • Aid in schedule management and ensure client needs are met as projects evolve
  • Help prepare budgets and analyze risks and opportunities
  • Maintain project and training documentation
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and status reports

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field
  • Intermediate understanding of project management methodologies
  • Fundamental MS Office Skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated ownership of tasks, organization skills and attention to detail
  • Possess strong communication and client-facing, teamwork skills
  • Experience with Training activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry
  • Certification in Project Management [e.g., Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP)]
  • Advanced proficiency in project management software
  • Prior Experience with:
    • Administration of training classes, including documentation and logistical support
    • Development of proposals to include administrative tasks as assigned
    • Data entry into Project Management (PM) Systems
    • Collaborating with internal Leadership, vendors, suppliers, other stakeholders, and internal teams, such as Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads, Control Account Managers (CAMs), Tech Leads, and Project Administrators (PAs)
    • Conflict resolution especially those related to resource assignments
    • Monitoring project progress against baseline schedule and facilitating process improvement initiatives

Essential Functions

  • Sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods
  • Strong hand/finger dexterity for typing and document handling
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment
  • Occasional travel may be required
