Flight Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a Flight Nurse to join a team dedicated to safely transporting patients via air medical services. This role emphasizes safety, professionalism, reliability, and high-quality patient care in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients in flight
• Support physicians’ orders with critical thinking and clinical expertise
• Maintain a safe, clean aircraft environment and ensure equipment readiness
• Communicate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, and partners
• Complete accurate documentation and adhere to safety standards
• Maintain necessary certifications and ongoing training

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as an RN
• Current RN license in relevant states
• EMT and Trauma Certifications as required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications (NRP provided during training)
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) within 24 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior flight experience
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
