About the role
We’re hiring a Flight Nurse to work with our team of air-transportation experts to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities as well as respond to scene calls. You’ll join a quality, professional team committed to high safety standards for both crew and patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical-care scenarios.
- Utilize critical-thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and execute physicians’ orders.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment; perform regular equipment and base checks; comply with all safety standards and briefings.
- Collaborate and communicate professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
- Share shift-change information to ensure smooth transitions and follow protocols for accurate company and regulatory documentation.
- Maintain all required certifications and complete ongoing training for the position.
- Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and adherence to elevated safety and service standards.
Requirements
- Three years of experience as a licensed RN in an Emergency or Adult Critical-Care setting.
- Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
- EMT Certification and Trauma Certification in state(s) where required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required prior to flight status (NRP provided during New-Hire Training).
- Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior flight experience.
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
