Flight Controls Systems Engineer I - Onsite

On-siteEngineeringFull-time
We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. Use

for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. We need to parse the posting. First, remove boilerplate: Date Posted, Country, Location, Position Role Type, U.S. Citizen etc. Some of that is metadata; we can fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. The instruction: "Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it." So we can include a short paragraph with location, citizenship requirement, etc. But we need to preserve all substantive information. The substantive info includes: role description, responsibilities, qualifications, preferred qualifications, benefits, pay range, etc. We need sections: About the role (maybe a paragraph summarizing the role). Responsibilities (list of duties). Requirements (maybe citizenship requirement? Actually "U.S. Person" requirement is a requirement). Qualifications (must have). Skills (preferred experience). Benefits (list). Pay (salary range). Schedule (maybe not given; there is no schedule info besides Onsite). The posting mentions "Onsite" role type, but schedule not given. Should we include Schedule section? Only if posting actually states them. It does not give schedule like full-time, hours. It says Onsite role type, but not schedule. Probably we should not include Schedule because no specific schedule info. Benefits: they list many benefits. Pay: salary range given. So include Benefits and Pay sections. Also "About the role" could be the introductory paragraph: "Are you ready to explore the world of aerospace and defense? ..." plus description of AFCS products etc. That is substantive. Responsibilities: list of typical functions: Develop control algorithms..., Define and review system requirements..., Develop models..., Conduct system verification..., Support product certification... Qualifications Must Have: Bachelor's or advanced degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent STEM major obtained by start date. Qualifications We Prefer: Previous experience with Matlab/Simulink, Knowledge of control systems theory, General knowledge of aviation and/or flight control systems. Those could go under Skills. Also "U.S. Person" requirement is a requirement; could be under Requirements. We need to avoid filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present. We need to remove duplicated lines, boilerplate like EEO, privacy policy, etc. Now produce HTML: We could start with a

for metadata: location, citizenship requirement, role type (Onsite). But we could also incorporate location into About the role? Probably better to have a short

with location and citizenship requirement. But instruction: "fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it." So we can include a

with location and citizenship requirement. Then sections:

Pay

The salary range for this role is $57,200 – $108,800 USD.

We should not include Schedule. Check for any other substantive content: "Relocation Eligibility Learn More & Apply Now" - that's boilerplate/application instructions, remove. "Please ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role." remove. "As part of our commitment..." remove. "The salary range provided is a good faith estimate..." we already captured salary range; we can keep that sentence maybe but it's somewhat generic; but it's part of pay description. Could include in Pay paragraph. We need to preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we should keep the sentence about salary range being a good faith estimate etc. That's substantive about the pay. So include that in Pay paragraph. Also "Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays." That's benefits detail; we already listed. Also "Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement." That's also substantive about benefits; we could add a note. Also "Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance." That's also about pay/incentives; could be included in Pay section. Also "This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply." That's also substantive; could be in Pay or a separate note. Also "RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted. However, factors such as candidate flow and business necessity may require RTX to shorten or extend the application window." That's about application timeline; but instruction says remove application instructions. This is about application window; maybe considered application instruction? It's not directly how to apply but about timing. Might be considered boilerplate? Safer to drop it as it's not core job content. The instruction: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." So drop application window. Also "RTX is an Equal Opportunity Employer..." drop. Now ensure we don't repeat job title as heading. We haven't. Now produce final HTML fragment. We need to ensure proper nesting:

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit and whether the position is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.

    Pay

The salary range for this role is $57,200 – $108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role; if the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

That seems comprehensive. Check for any duplicated content: we included U.S. Person requirement in both metadata paragraph and Requirements section; maybe that's duplication. The metadata paragraph
