About the role
NetJets, the global private aviation leader, is seeking a Flight Attendant to join its team. The Flight Attendant represents the pinnacle of private aviation, delivering an elite and personalized air travel experience while maintaining an uncompromising commitment to safety and security.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety and security of all Owners and passengers within the aircraft cabin, adhering to FAM, Service Procedures Checklist, and policies.
- Conduct thorough preflight inspections, welcome Owners and guests warmly, and provide personalized briefings.
- Source and serve high-quality catering, ensuring items meet luxury standards and align with Owner preferences.
- Deliver elevated inflight service, including beverage and food presentation, turndown service, and bespoke Owner profiles.
- Stow cabin baggage correctly and safely according to regulatory and company policies.
- Handle pet travel and smoking requests discreetly and professionally.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure a seamless experience, including Owner Services, NetJets Service Representatives, and others.
- Communicate cabin-related maintenance concerns promptly to the Pilot in Command.
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and efficiently, including inventory documentation, service passdowns, and crew reports.
- Maintain the aircraft cabin in a clean and organized state, adhering to company standards.
- Leverage innovative thinking to address complex issues and make prompt decisions in dynamic environments.
Requirements
- A minimum of 21 years of age.
- Outstanding communication skills, engaging with clarity, professionalism, and poise.
- Proficiency in personal computing, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to occupy a jumpseat and secure safety restraints as per FAA regulations.
- Able to maneuver safely within aircraft cabin dimensions and operate emergency exits.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Exceptional adaptability and ability to perform in dynamic and fast-changing environments.
- Able to manage personal rest effectively for extended tours.
- Able to travel away from home for up to 7+ consecutive days and nights, with accommodations provided.
- Eligible to obtain necessary airport authority and U.S. Customs security credentials.
- Pass TSA background screenings and obtain required airport and U.S. Customs clearances.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively under pressure or in high-stakes situations.
- Able to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
- Comfortable working around animals, including providing care and attention during Owner flights.
- Required Flight Attendant certification and FAA compliance post-hire.
- Successfully complete the NetJets Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program.
- Prior experience in premium or luxury service industries.
- Familiarity with high-touch service environments such as private aviation, yachting, Michelin-starred dining, or concierge services.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with a concentration in hospitality, customer service, business, or culinary arts.
