SUMMARY
Setup and operate a printing press that prints designs multiple colors on rolls of polyethylene film. Must have a thorough knowledge of the essential duties and responsibilities of the Press Helper and the Flowman as well as those listed below for the Press Operator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Constantly required to stand for up to 12 hours, walk, use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Regularly lifts and/or moves up to fifty (50) pounds or more than fifty (50) pounds with assistance or proper equipment.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Concentrate for long periods of time.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Six to twelve months manufacturing experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
SKILLS
- Must be able to read and interpret English language documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, company handbook, and procedure manuals
- Must be able to speak and write in English effectively when presenting information to supervisors and fellow employees
- Required to add, subtract, multiply and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
