Flexo Press Operator 2nd and 3rd shift

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines. Report all safety concerns or issues to your immediate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and area by completing daily housekeeping assignments.
• Complete make-ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are used.
• Complete all required quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks.
• Complete all press-side quality checks.
• Operate press to produce product in accordance with customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency.
• Maintain consistent quality during the production run. Critical quality checks include copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion. Ensure conformance to all other quality checks.
• Complete all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard.
• Complete press make-ready in an efficient manner.
• Complete all required equipment maintenance duties. Clean plate, cylinder, and ink pans, and lubricate press as needed.
• Input all required information into the GlobeTek system for material usage and time in an accurate and prompt manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years as a printing press operator experience and/or training.

The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally, the employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Pay

$26.00 hourly + $2.00 shift premium.
