Flexo Label Press Operator (2nd and 3rd Shift)

About the role

Operate multiple presses and RFID affixing equipment to produce labels, with a focus on the pharmaceutical sector.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run high-quality printing jobs on presses that use multiple colors.
• Identify and appropriately segregate defective products.
• Adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform routine maintenance on the presses to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot job-related issues and minor machine malfunctions.
• Comprehend and implement quality standards and expectations.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in the label printing industry.
• Proficiency in using a PC and machine interface to gather and input job-related data in a cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
• Willingness to work overtime, including some weekends, to meet deadlines.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Extended periods of computer work, manual dexterity, and ability to concentrate for long periods.
• Good hearing, vision, and communication skills.

Pay

$25 - $29 per hour
