About the Role

Soccer Shots Harrisburg is looking for fun, energetic, and dependable coaches to teach introductory soccer skills and character development to children ages 2–8. This part-time role is perfect for those who love working with children, staying active, and being outside while making a positive impact.

Schedule & Commitment

• Spring season: March–May (8–9 weeks)
• Fall season: September–November
• 8-week commitment with opportunity to return for back-to-back seasons
• Programs run across the East and West Shore, close to your location
• Work 1–3 days per week, 4–15 hours total
• Program times:
  • Weekday mornings: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
  • Weeknight evenings: 4:15 PM–7:00 PM
  • Saturday mornings: 8:30 AM–1:00 PM
• Flexible hours that work around your family schedule

Pay

Competitive pay at $22/hour.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize the safety of children under your care
• Engage with each child through specific and positive affirmation
• Plan and conduct sessions systematically according to the lesson plan
• Maintain appropriate order for the age group
• Represent Soccer Shots responsibly as the coach and "face" of the program
• Create a fun and exciting atmosphere to encourage participation and smiles

Requirements

• Passion for positively impacting children’s lives (prior soccer experience not required)
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Coaches are not permitted to bring their children to sessions
